Too Mutch Too Young

The news of Jordon Mutch’s transfer to Cardiff City on Friday evening has left Birmingham City fans stunned and angry as a sell off of the football club’s finest and youngest talent seems to be on the cards.

Jordon Mutch joins Cardiff City

The gifted midfielder, who battled back from injury last season to secure a place in Chris Hughton’s first team squad has been allowed to leave St Andrew’s for an undisclosed fee.

Jordon Mutch had come through the Birmingham City FC Youth Academy and made his first team debut for Blues at the age of 16 during a League Cup second round defeat against Southampton, this made him the second youngest debutant for the club after Trevor Francis.

Mutch has signed a three year deal at Cardiff City in a move that reunites him with Malky Mackay with whom he worked under whilst on loan at Watford.

Birmingham City fans are now fearing a mass clear out of players such as Curtis Davies, Nathan Redmond, Jack Butland and Chris Burke etc.

At the moment anything goes at the Blues, and this may include the floodlights if anybodys interested? I feel let down that the club that i love has got into this state I dread to think what the future hold for us now.. Tired and Weary is a fitting comment?
